For me, favorite family story. Is that we have two miracle baby boys. Both of our boys were preemies. Our first son was a micro-preemie, born at 27 weeks, weighing 1lb 14oz. He will be 4 this December and he makes the tasmanian devil look calm. And most recently our second son was born at 30 weeks, weighing 2lbs 10 oz. he just turned three months.
My husband and I have spent 107 days in NICU's. Something you never think about or prepare yourself when you get pregnant. But it has shaped who we are as parents today and we are so blessed to have our two healthy beautiful boys, and wouldn't change it for anything.
What is your family's motto?
This too shall pass.

With our older son come over is too many to count. But one of my all-time favorites is when my older son was a newborn, he was about 5 pounds, he had so much hair that I had to wash it almost every day or it would get all ratted, because I had to wash it so much his scalp became dry, he did not have cradle cap just dry. One day I decided to look up things to help with it, many people suggested Aquaphor.
Since my son was at micro preemie I was very cautious with which products I could use on him. Aquaphor was one they used in the NICU so I thought confident it would be safe. I rubbed it all over his head, when I went to wash it out, I realized his dry scalp was better but my son had a lot of hair. I know assume the people who suggested Aquaphor head bald babies. Because I sat there looking at my newborn with the greasiest her you've ever seen.
I looked up ways to fix this, baby powder is what I found. I coded his head with baby powder and combed it out. And that's where it becomes hilarious. I didn't have a newborn anymore, I had a old man, he looked like he was from back to the future. The story just isn't complete without the picture. So I will attach it below. Enjoy :)
