What is your favorite family tradition?
We really don't have many family "traditions". We have a lot of fun family things we love to do. I've learned over the years to do what's fun for ya not what we have to do because we've always done that. We've learned if we love let's do it again if not then let's try something different. As long as we're together and having a blast then we can do it as many times and as many years as we can.
Tell us about your favorite family story.
My favorite family story is about my BOYS!!! I'll tell this story for as long as I'm alive!!! My husband and I tried for many years to have babies. Lots of failed test, different doctors, different procedures fails surrogacy( my mom was my surrogate) and miscarriages galore.
It wasn't in our plan to have a baby in our own so we decided adoption was what we needed to become parents. We applied and put in our book in June 2012. November 2012 we had a birth mom due in January with a boy. We were elated!!! Our beautiful Parker was born January 2013.
It was the perfect adoption, no set backs, all love for birthmom and of course our son. 9 months later we found out I was miraculously pregnant. We welcomed our second baby boy Brody in June of 2014. Our lives were complete! God blessed us not once but TWICE!
I call my Parker my answered prayer and Brody my miracle. But God wasn't complaining done yet, in July 2018 we welcomed our third son Maddux. We call him our icing on the cake. Our journey to parenthood was long and hard but completely worth it.
I honestly don't think we'd have Brody or Maddux if we didn't follow Gods plan of adopting Parker.Blessed is really an understatement.

What's your number one tip for new parents?
The time really does fly, the days really are long and the years really are short. Enjoy every mintier of it, even the hard stuff. The speed of time goes into overdrive once the kids come. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!!!!
What has been the most surprising thing you've learned as a parent?
I still haven't learned the value of patience. Why? I have no idea. I've had to be patient for so long and I STILL haven't learned it. When your a mom you gotta be patient and I suck at it. I have plenty of time, love, care, joy to give but never enough patience. I guess it really is a virtue...🤷🏼♀️
Tell us about your funniest parenting story (we all have them!)
Well having 3 boys my stories usually involve poop...butts...fart....or pee pee's. No matter what or where I'm usually red faced and laughing at my boys stories they love to tell at inappropriate places. Plenty of stories have been told up front at church during children's moment by by boys.
Once he explained the proper way to wipe your buff while demonstrating. My boys have pulled down their pants to pee in public and amusement parks, water parks, weddings, parties and special events. Throat was hard especially during the potty training years!!! I've learned to laugh through most of it. They're only little once!
