Our favorite family tradition is preparing our home for the holidays. We love spending the weekend unboxing our Christmas decorations and decorating the tree. We hang a new family ornament on the tree each year and are excited to enjoy our tree all of December.
Our favorite family story is how it all began. We had known each other for 10 years before we actually went on a date. The spark was always there and once we gave it a shot we have been inseparable ever since. 4 years, an engagement, and 2 babies later, we are so blessed.
"It'll buff out!"
Take a minute each day to just breathe and take a few minutes for yourself to just be alone. Reset yourself if you're struggling and remember not to stress the small stuff.
You will know what to do for your baby. I was so stressed while I was pregnant thinking I wouldn't be able to figure out what my baby needed or if something was wrong. But your mothering instinct is incredible. You will understand their wants and recognize their different cries. It's an amazing thing.
When my oldest son was around 8 months old, I was tossing him him up in the air slightly while sitting on the floor. He had eaten 20 minutes before we started to play and as I tossed him up one last time he puked in my mouth. My fiancé just happened to be walking by me (with a terrible gag reflex) and witnessed the action causing him to puke on my head at the same time. Let's just say I now have an iron stomach!
