The Harder Family
What is your favorite family tradition?
Easily our favorite family tradition has to be our beach trip every 4th of July! Ever since I was young we went... we celebrated our country! And now, there's something about watching your kids grow up and play on the same beach and in the same condo, that you did when you were that age.... It's just so magical and sweet!
Tell us about your favorite family story.
Disney world! We took my Son for his first birthday. And I've never seen my husband happier! Yes! He thought he was too cool, but quickly found out your never too old for Disney!

What's your number one tip for new parents?
Don't be scared to ask for help! Being a new mom is the best change that will ever happen to you! It's also the hardest, and you WILL need support from family and friends. Whether is your mom moving in to a few weeks to keep you company, or calling a friend on the phone every day! Keep that adult interaction, and get the support you need. And most importantly, don't be afraid to ask for help. :)
What has been the most surprising thing you've learned as a parent?
Kids are HILLARIOUS! I Never expected to laugh so much being a mom! Whether is a weird sound the baby makes, or the fact that the Two year old decided for himself he wanted to potty in the potty so he could eat "ice cream".... You never know what your going to be laughing at next!
Tell us about your funniest parenting story (we all have them!)
Hmmm.... well we were visiting my family and friends in Birmingham, Alabama. And of course we go get ice cream.... and my Son, he was probably one at the time, was just so happy walking all around eating his ice cream. When I look over and see a pile of poop on the floor.... yes, his diaper came un done, and his poop fell out!! It made for a good laugh, and lots of cleaning supplies!
