What is your favorite family tradition?
For as long as I can remember, holidays in my family have always been all about family, our countless blessings, and tons of food. Whether we are celebrating New Years or Christmas, my whole family (extended and immediate) will be at my mom's house enjoying each other and the food!
Tell us about your favorite family story.
My mother and I are extremely close. She is the first person I tell anything to. I didn't get pregnant until I was 38. She endlessly harassed me about having a grandchild for her. When I found out I was pregnant, she thought I was joking. It was 8 o'clock at night. She got in her car, went to the pharmacy, and bought a pregnancy test. I had to prove it to her in person. She cried

What's your number one tip for new parents?
The first eight weeks are truly overwhelming, but you will get through it. Don't be too proud to ask relatives for help. New parents need rest!
What has been the most surprising thing you've learned as a parent?
That leaving the house with clothes that have been spit up on is not out of the question anymore! Also that I will never have time for a perfect face of makeup anymore, and that's ok! I would rather Wyatt look adorable. I can sacrifice myself for him!
Tell us about your funniest parenting story (we all have them!)
Oh this one is a doozy! We were at the doctor's office for Wyatt's 2 year old check up. He kept sticking his finger up his nose. I was steadily pulling it out telling him to stop picking his nose. This went on a good five minutes until he triumphantly yelled 'I got it mama. I got the bigggggg booger.' He the proudly presented his finger to the doctor.
