What is your favorite family tradition?

Visiting a local pumpkin patch so far has been our favorite tradition we've started. Veya was born on halloween so it seems like the perfect thing to enjoy each year.

Tell us about your favorite family story.

Our life as a couple and now parents is the best story imaginable. We met in 2012 in college and began dating a year later. We finished college in 2015, got engaged in 2016 and took sixty people to Mexico for a beautiful wedding in June of 2017. We were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Veya in 2018. Life moves fast but we have been enjoying the entire experience and look forward to the years to come.

What's your number one tip for new parents?

Don't sweat the small things.

What has been the most surprising thing you've learned as a parent?

How time flies! People told me "the nights are long and the years are short". They could not have described the last few years any better!

Tell us about your funniest parenting story (we all have them!)

A few weeks ago Veya taught us a huge lesson. While allowing your child to run the around the house naked is cute, you have to pay attention. When your child pulls herself up on the coffee table and then begins to squat down, parents cannot move quick enough. Veya soiled the floor before we could reach her, but luckily the video was rolling. That video can be used for entertainment purposes for years to come.
