What is your favorite family tradition?

My favorite family tradition is running the Turkey Trot race in downtown early on thanksgiving morning as a family!

Tell us about your favorite family story.

Every day when my husband gets home from work, our daughter is absolutely ecstatic to see him. She only wants to be held by him alone, and lay her head on his shoulder. These are the moments I know I will cherish when she grows up and no longer wants to be held and cuddled.

What is your family's motto?

Love God, love each other, serve others, give grace, and choose joy.

What's your number one tip for new parents?

Savor the sweet moments. In the hard moments remember- this too shall pass. Your children will never be this little again.

What has been the most surprising thing you've learned as a parent?

I never knew how much time it took to be a parent of a baby. Every minute is devoted to the child, and their naps and feedings.

Tell us about your funniest parenting story (we all have them!)

As soon as my daughter was born and put on my chest, she pooped all over me! First time, but definitely not the last time. 😂
