What is your favorite family tradition?
When the weather allows we love going for mid afternoon long walks around town. We enjoy getting out and enjoying the fresh weather. Our son rides in the stroller for most of it but we do let him get out and walk with us which loves.
Tell us about your favorite family story.
We found out we were expecting our first child while planning our wedding. I told my husband I thought I was pregnant and he said I was probably just late because of planning the wedding. Well a few too many at home pregnancy tests said otherwise.
Lucas came along and he is such a amazing blessing. He has kept us on our toes and is so full of energy. Five months later we are out grocery shopping and I toss in a box of pregnancy tests. My husband says what are those for.I say I'm pregnant. One test later and a doctors visit confirmed it.
In late January our daughter Sophia was born. She is full of sass and I'm loving putting bows and shoes on her.

What's your number one tip for new parents?
Don't compare your baby to someone else's baby. Your baby will hit milestones when he or she is ready to.
What has been the most surprising thing you've learned as a parent?
You can't do it all. As I'm currently staring at two baskets of clothes that need folded. The energy I had when I was 16 is long gone.
Tell us about your funniest parenting story (we all have them!)
We went out to lunch to a Mexican restaurant. Our son insists on feeding himself with no help. He was eating rice, beans and taco meat. Needless to say he was covered head to toe in beans. Before we could wipe him off he runs his hands through his hair. We had to change his whole outfit before we could leave the restaurant.
